Danielle and Nicole worked closely together at McGuire Development Company for many years, providing general counsel services for all facets of McGuire’s business. One service area that we were unable to provide, however, was our advocacy of non-profit organizations who engaged our McGuire’s Ownership Representation services . It was clear that we had much to offer our construction and real estate clients in the form of corporate strategy and structure, negotiations, and contract drafting, non-litigation dispute resolution, risk management, and everything from business formation to business divorce and separation. As such, Shainbrown Komin, PLLC was born on January 1, 2022, alongside its affiliate, Bellwether Advisors, LLC, and has grown to become a trusted resource for businesses large and small, disadvantaged entrepreneurs, established real estate professionals, and everyone in between.

Danielle combines extensive real estate and commercial development experience together with a strong legal background. Through her experience at Rupp Baase Pfalzgraf Cunningham, coupled with her decade-long tenure at McGuire Development Company, Danielle has developed a vast knowledge of real estate markets, property management, legal processes, and business efficiencies. Her expertise spans all aspects of the real estate development industry from client consulting and project visioning to negotiating agreements and securing project financing. Danielle’s comprehensive background allows her to anticipate trends and client needs before they emerge. As a lifelong resident of Western New York, her thorough understanding of the real estate climate in this community places her on the cutting edge of real estate development and revitalization.
Danielle lends her expertise and passion to the community as a board member for several organizations. Nicole has a wide range of experience in WNY commercial real estate and represents clients through all phases of a development project. She works closely with business owners, non-for-profits, charter schools, and private businesses to provide solutions to their real estate and business concerns. While every engagement is unique, Nicole has developed strategies over the years from her diverse experience as General Counsel at McGuire Development and as an attorney to project director of a medical-legal partnership at one of the area’s largest hospital networks. Nicole’s past experience illustrates her ability to implement project plans, negotiate on behalf of clients, and provide a detail-oriented approach to real estate development.
Nicole currently serves as Vice Chair on the GObike Board of Directors and is an active member of the Urban Roots Board of Directors. She previously served on the Board of Directors for several organizations including the WNY Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association of NY and was the former Vice Chair of the Amherst Senior Transportation Services Board of Directors. She is a recipient of the 2019 Doris S. Hoffman Outstanding New Lawyer Award and was recognized as a Rising Star through Upstate NY Super Lawyers.
